Are the courses open to the public?

Yes. All four clubs are open for public play, with 117 holes across The Heritage Golf Collection.

• Port Royal Golf Club: 36 holes
• Oyster Reef Golf Club: 18 holes
• Palmetto Hall Golf & Country Club: 36 holes
• Shipyard Golf Club: 27 holes

Do the clubs offer 9-hole rounds?

Yes. Shipyard Golf Club offers 9-hole play all day. Port Royal, Palmetto Hall, and Oyster Reef offer afternoon 9-hole play. Call (843) 681-1750 for 9-hole reservations.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are strongly recommended and should be made at least 30 days in advance. Our online tee-time booking system is available 24 hours a day and allows reservations up to six months in advance.

For 12 or more players, contact the reservation center at (843) 681-1750.

What is the cancellation policy?

Reserved tee times must be canceled at least 24 hours before the reserved starting time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tee time and no-shows are charged the full reservation amount to the credit card provided.

To cancel or reduce the number of players in your group, call (843) 681-1750.

Do you offer rain checks?

Rain checks may be issued at the club’s discretion due to severe weather conditions or course closures during your round. Refunds will not be issued.

Do you have a driving range or practice facility?

Yes. All four clubs have practice facilities open to the public. The range opens with the first tee time.

• Small bucket of range balls: $15
• Large bucket of range balls: $22

Port Royal’s Practice Loop includes three practice holes—a par 3, par 4, and par 5—plus a large bucket of range balls for $45.

Do you offer rental clubs?

All four clubs offer men’s and women’s Callaway rental sets. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Unreserved sets are subject to availability.

• 18-hole rental set, weekly: $229
• 9-hole rental set: $50 (balls not included)
• US Kids junior rental sets: available at no charge

Can I ship my golf clubs to the club?

Yes. We work with Ship Sticks. Visit their website to arrange shipping for your golf clubs.

Do you have a dress code?

Conventional, appropriate golf attire is required on club grounds, golf courses, and practice areas.

Required golf attire includes: polo shirts, collared shirts, shorts, slacks, athletic dresses, skirts, and skorts.

Not appropriate: jeans or denim, cut-off shorts, tank tops, sweatsuits, swimsuits, spandex leggings, or bike shorts.

Is walking allowed on the course?

All clubs require guests to take carts.

Do you allow non-golfers to ride along?

Ride-along availability is seasonal, and cart fees apply. Call (843) 681-1750 to check availability.

Do you have restaurants?

Yes. Each club offers its own dining experience. Visit our dining page for menus and hours of operation.

Can I bring my own food and beverages?

Outside food and beverages are not allowed. All clubs offer beverage carts and restaurant service.
