  Meet the Courses

Whether you want a timeless George W. Cobb layout or a course with Pete Dye influence and a little more strategy baked in, Port Royal gives golfers two championship options in one setting.

Barony
Classic Hilton Head Golf

Designed by George W. Cobb in the early 1960s, Barony Course has the kind of classic character golfers come back for. Expect tree-lined fairways, generous greens, well-placed bunkers, and a layout that rewards smart shots without trying too hard to show off.

Why golfers like it
  • Large greens
  • Mature oak and pine scenery
  • Strong bunker placement
  • Great for steady, thoughtful play
Robber's Row
Strategy, History, and Shot Making

Robber’s Row brings a different kind of energy. Originally designed by George W. Cobb and later redesigned by Pete Dye, the course gives players room off the tee while still asking for decisions into the greens. Add in its Civil War history and natural setting, and it becomes one of Port Royal’s most memorable rounds.

Why golfers like it
  • Pete Dye influence
  • Generous landing areas
  • Risk and reward decisions
  • Historic Lowcountry setting
